Downingtown, Pennsylvania, is a scenic town midway between Philadelphia and Lancaster. It was originally founded as Milltown and around the time of the American Revolution, became known as Downing’s Town. In the 1920s, it became a center of industry due to its central location and good access to rail transportation corridors. Today this vibrant and unique little town boasts historic offerings, beautiful local and national parks, modern amenities and opportunities for shopping and dining.
